Better hosting choices, with privacy in view

Bitcoin VPS helps you compare Bitcoin-friendly VPS providers by price, resources, location, and signup requirements. Affordable infrastructure and clear privacy practices belong in the same comparison. We want you to understand both before you order.

Our focus is VPS hosting. A listing may show individual plans or a starting price when detailed plans are unavailable. Prices are displayed in USD for comparison; the provider’s original currency and current checkout terms still matter.

Privacy is part of the product

We believe people should be able to build and use online services without handing over more personal information than necessary. That matters for everyday websites, independent publishing, self-hosted applications, and Bitcoin infrastructure alike.

Accepting Bitcoin alone does not tell you how a host treats your data. Signup requirements, payment processing, company jurisdiction, and access through Tor all deserve attention. Where information is available, we present it alongside the practical details of the service. Where it is unclear, we say so.

Bitcoin payments do not guarantee anonymity. A provider or payment processor may still request identity documents. Accessing a provider’s website through Tor does not mean it permits Tor relays or exit nodes on its servers. Always check the policy for your intended use.

What we encourage hosting providers to do

  • Explain what information is required at signup, when identity checks may occur, and how customer data is handled.
  • State whether customers can register and manage services through Tor, separately from rules about hosting those services.
  • Make the payment process transparent, including any third-party processor and its requirements.
  • Consider self-hosted Bitcoin payment processing, such as BTCPay Server, to reduce dependence on intermediaries. Self-hosting payment software does not by itself make a service anonymous.
  • Publish clear specifications, billing periods, company and server locations, and acceptable-use policies.

We support informed discussion about financial privacy and proportionate data collection. For further reading, explore Coin Center and the Open Dialogue Foundation’s BTC Coalition work. These are external resources, not endorsements of this directory.

Using the directory

Use the catalog filters to narrow offers by budget, location, and resources. Browse provider profiles for signup conditions, sources, customer reviews, and available plans. The information button opens provider details; the provider action takes you to the supplier’s website.

Reviews are published only after moderation. Share your own experience and avoid including identity documents, payment details, or other sensitive information in your review. A published review displays the name you submitted, your rating, and your text.

How this website handles data

Browsing the public directory does not require an account. The site’s application does not use advertising trackers or public visitor tracking cookies. Your theme preference is saved in your browser’s local storage. Administrator sign-in uses a session cookie.

The web server keeps access logs that can include IP addresses, request times, browser information, and referring URLs. Anti-abuse controls use an IP-derived keyed identifier to limit repeated submissions. This website should not be treated as an anonymous or no-logs service.

When you submit a review, we store its name, rating, text, and moderation information. Provider-link clicks are recorded with the link identifier and time; those application records do not include a visitor IP address. Server access logs remain separate. External providers and resources have their own data practices.

Sources and independence

A listing is a research starting point, not a guarantee of reliability, anonymity, or suitability. Provider policies, prices, and availability can change. Check the linked sources and confirm important requirements with the provider before paying. Our provider actions currently use ordinary outbound links, and we count those transitions.
